However, the new RAM(opens in new tab) kits will certainly please enthusiasts that prefer a more subtle and sleek look. Somewhat confusingly, the new memory kits carry the same name as their RGB counterparts. The brushed aluminum heat spreader is still present on the new memory modules sans the RGB lighting. If you're buying new RAM (opens in new tab)and considering ToughRAM Z-One, be sure to pay close attention to the product images. Currently, Thermaltake is only offering the ToughRAM Z-One in dual-channel 16GB (2x 8GB) configurations. There are two memory speeds available. The DDR4-3200 and DDR4-3600 RAM kits come with a CAS latency(opens in new tab) of 15 and 18, respectively. They run at the aforementioned speeds with an operating voltage of 1.35V. Unfortunately, Thermaltake didn't reveal the memory kits' other timings. Was not sure it would match its predecessor memory of the same bandwidth and speed etc. But it did and now I have 8 gigs of solid working memory. Boosted system performance significantly. Would recommend! Good memory at a good price. Despite it's different look, it perfectly matched the other 4GB ADATA stick with heat spreader that I had, allowing me to easily upgrade my workstation to 8GB. Working at 1333MHz @ 9-9-9-24 with no issues. As other reviews already state, this RAM does its' job. The price is great, and despite being a lower frequency than other choices there isn't a performance difference. This is great RAM for cheap, I'd recommend it to anyone.
